Snap Coffee is only a few weeks old and is Toronto’s newest coffee shop. Located at Gerrard and Church across from SHE (Ryerson’s Health Studies building), this cozy spot is a mix of minimal and hip with its exposed bulb lights, ashy wood tables, and beautiful marble counter. A plus? The staff is incredibly friendly and patient (especially as you decide what to order). With two bar seating areas, it’s perfect for the studying student or someone who needs to get work done.
My favourite thing about Snap Coffee, and by far one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a coffee shop, is the Ripple coffee printer. Order any drink with foam at the top, choose an image, and have the picture printed into your drink! I printed a mountain-scape and almost found it too pretty to drink. Perhaps in the future Snap Coffee will let customers add in their own custom pictures – maybe for a small fee?
We ordered a medium roast brewed coffee, cappuccino, and chai latte. The drinks didn’t particularly stand out, but they were all pretty good. Snap only offers two sizes for drinks: Medium and Large. There is also a small selection of food like bakery items, subs, and salad! Be sure to stop by Snap Coffee, Toronto’s newest coffee shop.
